Whether you have a GT350, Mustang GT, or F150, the AFS Ported Shelby GT350 Voodoo (or Bullitt for 2018+) style intake manifold might be the best option to take your build to the next level. With the Cobra Jet Intake Manifold out of production, the GT350 is one of the next best intake manifolds in many combinations. The GT350 intake manifold’s long runner length results in retention of that low to mid range power to get you moving, and the larger volume (than the stock Mustang GT intake manifold) carries power out well into the 7,500rpm range.
FOR INSTALL ON MUSTANG GT OR F150 MOTOR:
When selecting the right intake manifold for you, we recommend installing a Ported GT350 Intake Manifold on the 11-17 Mustang GT or F150 and installing a Ported Bullitt Intake Manifold on a 2018+. After 2018, the Coyote throttle body and intake manifold electronics transitioned to a digital format, whereas the 2011-17 Mustang GT had analog electronics that were compatible with the GT350. In 2018, the Bullitt Mustang mixed parts of the GT350 and GT motor components and the Bullitt Intake Manifold was released. The Bullitt intake manifold takes the form and design of the GT350 and pairs the setup with 2018+ Coyote components.
IMRC Lockouts:
When installing the GT350 or Bullitt Intake Manifold on the 11-14 GT, IMRC lockouts are required. On a 2015-17 Mustang GT, IMRC Lockouts might be recommended for ease of tuning. Please check with your tuner to find out if they want the pods locked out. For those 2018+ Mustang GT owners who also want to upgrade to the GT350 style intake manifold, the Bullitt is the best option for you. The Bullitt Intake Manifold also runs on the 11-17 Mustang GT when the IMRC Pods are locked out.
What We Do: We cut and reshape the inlet and runners, removing excess glue in the seams and any obstructions to increase overall airflow and balance between cylinders.
Yields: 5-7hp gain and 3-6ft lbs of torque, depending on your build.
We recommend pairing the GT350 or Bullitt Intake Manifold with the respective 87mm throttle body to take advantage of the 87mm inlet on the intake manifold. Swapping the stock Mustang GT Intake and Throttle Body out with the GT350/Bullitt components adds around 12hp.
